I think this system has the potential to revitalise Scottish youth development, and more importantly for our purposes, revitalise Celtic's youth development that has stagnated in the last decade. Perhaps getting ahead of myself, but is there any indication the club are keen to engage with this? Whether this is the case or not, based on our recent handling of loans, is it something we are likely to make the most of in your view?
I'd be lying if I said I knew more than what has been in the press. I had heard from various people before that news story broke that Queens Park was likely and Eddie had covered that in his Celtic Da column.
Beyond that, I've no idea who else we might link with. I said in Substack chat that I think it'll be mid-June before we begin to get a clear picture of things. Managers and coaches will be back from holidays and will sit down and hopefully have clear pictures of what they want to do.
I know that some players in the Academy I've spoken with are excited by this, and I know many wanted out on loan last season and will be chomping at the bit to go test themselves at a higher level than Lowland League. Obviously the onus is on the ones who do get out on loan to make the most of it and that's not just guys who were in the B team. It also applies to the lads who were in the u18s and the lads who have just signed their first pro-contracts having come through the u16s. We have players in each team who imo would benefit from this system.
As for how well it works, I hope it goes well but there are so many moving parts and that's why I'd be adamant that we should be extremely detailed in our research before we go into a co-op with anyone and that it shouldn't just be an old pals act.
Tam O'Ware... 100% not a reference to the agreements.
AI artwork, noted... The actual players images I put together from the official UEFA images and just had it put an anime spin on it with the clubs. Sadly, I don't have enough time to put much thought into the images and so having Chat GPT do it is an easy solution.

I wonder if Eddie's cryptic mention of Tam O'Ware is relevant to agreements?

Anime players: Dargie, Frame & Ure
I have to admit I'm not a fan of AI artwork though. Asides from the ethical side of things, it's a bit ACSOM, and that's worse.
Oh and you got 2/3
