I have never gotten the concept of being angry over merchandise, if you like something buy it, if you like it a little bit, buy it when it goes to a reduced price, if you don’t like something then don’t buy it
100% my rule is anyone over the age of 30 shouldn’t be buying football tops but I’m in a minority of one on this I think.
Also it’s not the club punting them out, I’m pretty sure our deal with adidas has contractual obligations on the amount of product released each season and having an elite deal gives them even more scope to do so.
I think the balance from the club is that every email, tweet or instagram post is forever trying to sell you something outwith game updates.
Unfortunately there's also a large element of our support who can't understand why simply re-releasing the Lisbon 67 kit every single year isn't a commercially viable prospect either.
The other thing folk forget about the kits is it is irrelevant what they look like. There are some absolute abominations that have been created over the years that are now all of a sudden 'classics', not because of how they look but they remind you of a moment, a game or a player.
What’s really worrying is that social media reaction is now filtering into real life. People getting really angry and upset at the littlest thing now and acting completely different from before. Key board warriors now seem just to be social warriors…

I think the problem is that the only time Celtic appear professionally run or communicate effectively is when they're taking our money.

Well put. As ever everyone has a choice.
Is anyone on here the actual target market for any taps ?
I'd be doubtful.
