Celtic vs Hearts
It all comes down to this (does Crocker have copyright on that?)
It’s been a season to remember for so many things, some good and some bad. On Saturday by 2.30pm we’ll all know how the story of the 2025/26 league has ended.
A win or a draw for Hearts will see them pick up the title for the first time since 1960.
A win for Celtic makes it 5 in a row and our 56th league title overall.
There are games that come around that you know will live long in the memory, and it’s not often in Scottish football we get one of those on the final day of a league season, certainly not many of them in my lifetime…. This game is going to be one of those games.
With that in mind we normally do a “you pick” on the site but today I thought I’d change it up a little and ask some of our contributors to select their starting line up and let you vote on which one you would choose (poll at the bottom).
These are the teams picked:
Andrew:
He has gone for goals, and has decided that starting Iheanacho and going for it early is the best plan.
Keith:
He has decided to make one change from the team that started vs Motherwell in midweek. Ralston for AJ
Harry and Stephen R:
They have both gone for 2 changes from the Motherwell game. Forrest for Tounekti and Hatate for Nygren.
Josh McCafferty, Stephen and Ross:
We have both went for 1 change from midweek. Forrest for Tounekti. I’m taking a very small sample on Forrest: 3 league starts and 3 league wins this season to justify his inclusion.
Alternatively if you think our picks aren’t for you, then you can post your starting XI in the comments and vote for yourself.
As for the game itself, I think it’s one of those occasions where emotion will dictate how it unfolds. Having a game plan is always important, but the biggest factor will be which group of players can handle, and harness that emotional wave best on the day.
We shall see you all on the other side of it, hopefully with smiles on our faces.
Hail, Hail
Ross

I think this game will be won in the second half, and I'd keep AJ until then.
I'd rather see the game out with AJ than Ralston trying to keep it tight at the back.
