Hello, good afternoon, and welcome to the Celtic Da Weekly. You’d think after the past week there’d be a mountain of things to discuss, but honestly, this week is just last week with a fresh coat of paint and a bit more chatter about Jota coming back and, of course, the potential of a backup striker if we miss out on Kvistgaarden. In fact, I’d even go as far as saying last week’s column was a far more enjoyable read, so do yourself a favour—go back and have a gander at that one instead. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. Or at least you won’t resent me quite so much.

Let’s start with the positives - Jota has returned, yes his hair looks like it needs a bit of work but sun damage can do that to you. The most disappointing aspect of this signing has to be the reveal video. Nothing about double denim, nothing about Wham, and nothing about the Brazen. Does nobody even try anymore?
