The A-List
Under official UEFA Champions League regulations, clubs are permitted to register up to two new eligible players on List A after the main submission deadline for qualifying rounds and play-off ties.
The Wildcard Provisions
Allowance: A club can make up to 2 late additions to List A after the initial deadline for that specific qualifying round or play-off match.
Cut-Off Deadline: The late registration must be completed online by 23:59 CET (22:59 UK time) on the day before the first-leg match.
National Association Confirmation: The club’s national association must confirm in writing that the new players are officially registered domestically.
List A Limits: The overall squad cap of 25 players and the locally trained quotas (minimum 8 homegrown places) still strictly apply. If List A is already at capacity, currently registered players must be removed to make room for the new additions.
Locally Trained Quota: At least 8 places must be reserved for locally trained players. Of these 8, no more than 4 can be "association-trained" (the rest must be "club-trained").
Roster Reduction: If a club has fewer than 8 locally trained players, the total List A size is reduced accordingly (e.g., only 5 homegrown players reduces the maximum squad size to 22).
Goalkeeper Quota: List A must contain at least 2 goalkeepers. Combined across List A and List B, the squad must feature at least 3 goalkeepers.
List B Criteria: Players born on or after 1 January of the qualifying year threshold who have been eligible to play for the club for an uninterrupted period of 2 years (or 3 consecutive years with a maximum of one loan) since turning 15.
What can change and where are the right backs?:
List B for us will contain players like Colby Donovan, Thomas Hatton and Sean McArdle.
AJ is going to miss both games, so can be left off this list for now.
As it stands there is an expectation that Arne Engels and Michel-Ange Balikwisha will depart before the LASK game, so that would open up 2 slots for anyone who might arrive between now and the deadline for changes.

Assuming we’re changing the full style of the midfield now, can’t be oxlade or mccowan starting these games, won’t be hatate and by all account Baur isn’t an Engels type
