Hello, good evening and welcome to the Celtic Da Weekly. In the great stramash that is the Celtic transfer window, there are months where nothing happens, and there are weeks where months happen. Honestly I’m not entirely sure what that means either, but after last week’s rumour-palooza, this week promises to be a lot less scream-and-shout and a bit more of the old barrel-scraping variety.

You’d think I’d learn to hoard my best rumours, but no, I’m too busy quaking at the thought of a real transfer breaking before I even get to wheel out my “exclusive.” And who could blame me? The forum doom-mongers live for slagging off every crumb I fling their way. It’s practically their national pastime. Wouldn’t dream of depriving them of their only crumb of joy. However, given who we are signing, being disappointed with this column is the least of their worries…
