Hello, good morning, and welcome to the Celtic Da Weekly. If you go away, as I know you must, there'll be nothing left in this world to trust. Just an empty room full of empty space, like the vacant look I see on your face. Yes, it’s the “Will the last player to leave Celtic Park please turn off the lights” special edition of the Celtic Da Weekly.

With MOR, Hatate, Kyogo and Hoopy all potentially leaving, it looks like if we don’t get a couple of signings in soon, we’ll be playing five-a-sides down at the Pitz. Paradise may be for us, but it would be nice to share it with one or two additional players - just for a laugh, you know? Is that too much to ask for? We keep being told that CCV and Jota arrived at Celtic Park with 15 minutes to spare before the deadline back in the day, but let's face it, we were all younger then. I’m not sure our hearts can take this much tension anymore.

Before we get to the main part of this week’s CDW (I’m going to keep beating this drum until it catches on, regardless of what the rest of you think), we really need to talk about the new strip that was released this week. Who do Adidas think they’re kidding with that justification for the style? “Inspired by the fans and in honour of the 30 year anniversary since the closing of the Jungle”? Pull the other one. That’s almost as bad as the “aye, erm it’s, erm, inspired by the… erm… pink bit, no wait, hear me out, it’s inspired by the pink bit of the Lisbon ticket, maybe? If you squint a bit perhaps?”
