Hello, good evening and welcome to the Celtic Da Weekly. That’s right, fresh from escaping the hostage situation that is a family Christmas, the never knowingly correct column is back and it’s only about 12 hours late. Let me officially be the last person in 2025 to wish you a happy New Year.
Let’s kick off with a rumour straight from the trenches—apparently, there’s talk that there won’t be any away fans at the next Glasgow derby. Why? Because, surprise, surprise, we’re still concerned that the work agreed at Ibrox hasn’t been completed. Apparently, the turnstile access, which was supposed to be upgraded, hasn’t been touched. So, until we see some proof that things are actually getting done, we’re reportedly not handing over any tickets. Meanwhile, the zombies are in full meltdown mode over the work we’ve done at Celtic Park. Apparently, they’re not too thrilled that their fans can still see the pitch through the massive net we’ve put up. Word is, they’re already calling it the “zoo,” and let’s be honest, it’s probably just a matter of time before it becomes the official name.
